Sudokube
Posted by Darren on January 18th, 2010What would happen if two of the most addictive puzzles the world has ever seen decided to have a child? Presenting, the Sudokube. A cross between the ever-popular Rubik’s Cube and a Sudoku puzzle, the Sudokube can provide hours of enjoyment (and frustration) to even the most hardcore of puzzlers.
The Rubik’s Cube, originally developed by a Hungarian waiter, has sold in excess of 300 million units globally. The challenge is to rotate the cube until all six sides contain just one colour each. The Sudokube adds an extra challenge by requiring each side to contain the numbers 1-9. The puzzle isn’t complete until all six sides contain all nine numbers.
For anybody who enjoys puzzles of any sort, the Sudokube will be the perfect gift. I actually bought one for my father last year and he loved it. As a child, having seen him ‘borrow’ my Rubik’s Cube for hours on end I knew that this gift would be ideal.
The Sudokube is available from Prezzybox at just £5.95 (plus postage).
