Roberts Ecologic4 Eco-Friendly DAB Digital Radio

I like to listen to the radio while in the workshop or outside doing yardwork. The Robert’s Ecologic4 digital stereo radio fits the bill for use outdoors. Unlike other digital radios, this unit has a really long battery life. It takes a lot of power to get good strong reception and quality sound out of a digital radio. This radio gets up to 150 hours of use out of one set of six LR20 (size D) batteries. That’s more than five times the battery life of what you’d get from any other digital radio. Plus the radio can be hooked up to the power mains so you don’t waste batteries while using it indoors.
Other features of the Ecologic4 are FM and DAB digital stereo operation, manual or search tuning, and 20 station presets. The radio has a 16×2 line backlit LCD character display that shows the FM RDS station information and all menu selections and functions. Sound is rich and full with the large front speakers and the radio has headphones and line output sockets.
The Robert’s Ecologic4 DAB/FM digital stereo radio is £89.99 including VAT. The radio is a portable 300mm x 180mm x 95mm deep, weighs 2kg and is available in either silver or black.
